This is really my daily drinker beer these days - the one I always turn to when I just want to have a beer or three without being suprised by anything new. It’s refreshing with a light body and a medium amount of bitterness. Really, it’s a nearly perfect Florida beer. It’s complex enough to be enjoyable without being complex to show off. Really, one of the goals of this whole project is to stop drinking Beck’s all the time - not really because I’m tired of it but just because I’m afraid I’ll never try anything else because I like this one so much. So we’ll see how it goes.

I didn’t even really want to drink beer this day - it was New Year’s day, I’d had a very late night the night before with not that much sleep afterwards. But there were lots of people over for the USC/Michigan game and everyone else was drinking. So I had to drink a few myself. As always, not a bad beer. Tasty, hit the spot without being obtrusive. Good job Beck’s - I’m sure I’ll drink you again sometime this year when I get tired of “Mike Jones’ Badger and Yak’s Blood Beer” or whatever crazy thing I have to drink to finish this challenge.
