I’m probably going to get a lot of shit for rating this as low as I have here, but whatever.  It’s just a middle-of-the-road beer.  Nothing special, nothing wonderful.  It’s beer, that’s for sure, but it’s not really good beer.  It’s pretty bland, really.  I’m drinking it out of a bottle right now, but I think even on tap it’s just meh.  It kind of leaves a bad aftertaste after each sip and it doesn’t really brighten a man’s outlook on life.  It’s a depressing beer is what I’m saying, I think.  So much so that I almost feel like staying home tonight instead of going out.  I won’t, but it’s a consideration.  Stupid Bass - screw you and the import ship you rode in on.  Stay in your own damn country.auto loan calculator abaameriloan fraudhome fred aames loanalabama montgomery fha loansaccess loanloans act educationa rate loan cheap10,000 loan Mapaboriginal loans businessloan az receivable accountsalaska corporation student loanpayday missouri loan advanceloans 100 ltcstudent loan federal accountloans unsecure personal 3000payday loan affordable Maphumor adultpussies creampieyoung vaginasdvds adulttight girlscute teenporn gothichard fuck Map

  1. oooohhh… I want to defend the ale but can’t, you picked a bad one, hopefully you’ll get the oppurtunity to try some better Bass beers. They aren’t all bad.

  2. I enjoy Bass on a regular basis, and I can agree, it’s nothing fantastic, but it’s better than generic cheep beer.

    If you’d like to try some good, though very hoppy, beers, try Old Thumper (by Ringwood Brewery), and anythign by Gritty McDuff’s. My personal favorite by Grittys is their Pub Style.

    I can think of about 20 more beers you should try but I’m not going to distract from this particular post anymore.

  3. I could see you not liking Bass if you lean more towards Becks. You may have been better off making a black & tan with a pint of Guiness. Then you also could have killed two birds with one stone.

  5. I agree with your critique of Bass- I thought I was the one who was weird when all my friends raved about it and I thought it tasted like monkey urine. Not that I’ve ever tasted monkey urine.

  6. I agree. I have never been a big fan of Bass Pale Ale. It is nothing special. Some of my friends rave about it and how good it is. There are better import beers available for your money.

  7. Yep - you hit this one right on the nail. It’s a poor beer. And here in the UK, where it’s made, it’s the drink of last resort. (Always funny to see it marketed as a ‘premium’ beer abroad! (Basically: “stupid foreigners won’t know it’s crap”)

  8. Could be you don’t like ales. I don’t like ales, so Bass and friends taste like bitter dishwater to me. Lagers and stouts are where it’s at.

  9. Couldn’t agree with you more. If you can get it, a good English bitter is Black Sheep. Now that’s got flavour. Find a Real Ale importer, how Bass ever got world-wide is a mystery to me, guess it’s cos no-one drinks it back home, gotta do something with it.
