Those full flavored kind of beers are always fun as a taste, or if you’re just going to have one or two. But to actually sit down and have one with a meal, or getting your drink on, it just doesn’t sit well with me. Nonetheless I might want to try this one.

Hello, i got to your site via digg. As a beer drinker myself I am very curious about your progress. I live in South Africa and we are constantly told (via marketing pony tails) that our beers are amongst the best. We produce a beer called Castle Larger (SA Breweries). But I am a regular drinker of beer from Neighboring Namibia called Windhoek, which happens to be the name of the administrative city of that country.
I wonder if it would be possible for u to mention what u pay for a 6 pack for each beer you sample. I am just curious about world beer prices.
Keep going !

Another good PA brewery is Victroy Brewing Co. - www.victorybeer.com
Just about every style they make, they do a good job of. Personal favorites include: Golden Monkey (Belgian Tripel - 9.5%ABV), Hop Devil (IPA), V12 (+12%ABV), and good old Victory Lager.
Good luck!
Paul

Excellent choice. I just got this link from digg.com and was going to sugguest trying something from Lancaster Brewing Company, but it seems you’ve already been up in those neck of the woods. I live in Lancaster, about 2 blocks from the brewing company (main reason why I bought that apartment is so that I don’t have to drink and drive from the brewery, even though there’s another bar in my backyard, I still prefer the 2 block walk). They’ve got a lot of other flavors of beer, as well as some seasonal brews, so theres something for everyone if you ever make it to the actual bar. Excellent choice of beer to sample.

I’ve got to agree with Paul on the quality of beers from Victory. Their Prima Pils is another that you shouldn’t miss. They sell a variety case which include Golden Monkey, Victory lager, Prima Pils, and HopDevil ale.
