  1. In the uk fosters is fizzy cheap filth. Don’t like it at all, as Lagers go, it is tasteless and bland. Not sure i would have even given it a 1 myself. :)

  2. Foster’s is bloody awful. I am from Sydney Australia and you just can’t buy the stuff. The only time I saw it for sale at a regular pub was during the 2000 Olympics that we hosted, presumably so all the international tourists could drink a ‘real Aussie beer’. It’s even hard to buy in a case or 6-pack.

    No, the local Aussie beer is VB - Victoria Bitter - a strange name since it’s really a lager. Not the world’s best beer either (though I am probably committing sacrilege saying so).

    Dann, if you can get a hold of it, for a GOOD Aussie beer try to get anything in the James Squire range - excellent beers.
