Having tasted dozens of brown ales, Newcastle is only average at best. It has a metallic taste to it that really puts me off. Samuel Smith, on the other hand... now THAT'S a brown ale! And finally they're going to stop using clear bottles, which skunk beers faster than you can say "Take it out of the light!" Don’t fret about what the other Jim said: I agree with you. Though I may not agree with your tastes (as shown in another post for a different beer) I wouldn't put down your tastes because why? That's why they make different kinds of beer! Because we all have different tastes! I may not agree with your tastes in all cases but its awesome that you are doing this and keep up the good work mate!
