For a smooth, easy drinking bitter/cream ale, this one is hard to beat. It’s great for sitting around at a bar and tossing back a few while throwing some darts or shooting pool. Getting it on tap brings you that beautiful creamy nitrogen-based head that lasts seemingly forever along with the creamy flavor and slight hop bitterness. If there’s a bad thing to say about this beer it has to be that it’s just too plain - there’s no that much to it. No real depth to the beer, nothing that you don’t notice in the first couple of sips.
