Out of all of the “resolution beers” that were cold in the fridge, this one looked the least interesting - so I went for it. I was going to drink an Stoudt’s outmeal stout, but I think I’m going to save that one for Beer Blogging Day in a couple of weeks. I think it’s going to be hard to resist drinking it between now and then, unfortunately.

It pours out nicely into the glass with a fine pale golden color and a medium-sized head that quickly settles down to a lacy top. That’s where the magic stops, though. While there’s nothing actually wrong with this beer, there’s just nothing to really recommend about it. There’s a grassy flavor, some light hop bitterness and then nothing - most of the flavor is water here. I wish I had more to say but that’s about it - I don’t even notice much in the way of malt when drinking it. A real disappointment from the random 24-pack.
