I always find it hard to write about beer when I’m not drinking one, so that’s some of the reason for the lack of updates recently. That, and the fact that I just haven’t had that many new beers - I guess that’s another part of it.
I picked this beer up at the local Whole Foods recently; they had it in a singles case up front. Since Lew Bryson has been harping on them in the past few months I figured what better session beer than one that’s actually got it on the label? Plus, I really do like Full Sail’s offerings.
It’s not unpleasant to look at, but nothing special. Golden with little to no head - but it does have quite a bit of carbonation. It smells delicious, though - hops and malt and a slight hint of orange. Lots of clean, clear flavor in this beer - and I still get that light orange flavor on the tongue as well.
