It’s good to go back to drinking what you love every once in a while when you’re trying new things. I’ve had some good beers here and there over the past month, but drinking a nice, strong, full-flavored IPA really makes me smile. This one fits the bill quite nicely - a hazy golden color with small amounts of sediment floating in underneath a nice fluffy head forms the backdrop for a mouth full of delicious. Lots of fruit in the nose and in the body - orange and apricot, perhaps? A nice medium level of hopping that’s not too overpowering like so many other IPAs seem to run. Medium-full mouthfeel and a dryness at the end that reminds you of the fruitiness that was just there a few seconds ago. I’m really a fan of this one and I’m sorry I’ll probably never be able to buy it down here in Florida.
