Now this is a wonderful beer. Brownish-orange in color with a light head that goes away quickly, it smells of malt and slightly of oranges. The taste is very balanced between malt and hops with lots of layers of flavor. Sweet malt and some hops quickly move to a mild orange-caramel flavor before the hops come back in the aftertaste. Even after a couple of minutes of taking a sip it’s still filling my mouth with delicious hop flavors and leftovers. Everything is perfectly balanced in this beer, even though it’s a lot higher alcohol than I initially thought - over 7%.
